THURSDAY 9th July – THE WEAVE

Popular band comprising some of Liverpool’s best established Jazz musicians, bringing together an extremely wide range of influences and musical experience to create a repertoire of warm, melodic and joyous homespun originals.
Since forming in August of 2012 when they recorded their debut album, The Weave won tour support from Jazz North on their Northern Line Ambassadors scheme, and have toured extensively in England, including playing to packed houses at the Liverpool, Manchester, Congleton and Teignmouth International Jazz Festivals. Their debut album received widespread critical acclaim nationally and won radio support from the likes of Mark Radcliffe, Jazz FM, UK Jazz Radio. “Splendidly energetic and accessible” – Charles Waring (Record Collector Magazine) “Just beautiful! Great music in which the true spirits of Jazz walk benignly and contentedly” – Digby Fairweather. “This is the band to look out for…great things to come. Very rarely is a whole room enraptured by music they’ve heard, in the main, for the first time” Paul Pacehttp://theweavemusic.com www.facebook.com/theweave3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy3qVmnQ4Zo
