WEDNESDAY 18th Feb– KATE MULLINS + RICK SIMPSON TRIO + mini-set from US vocalist ALEXIS COX + OPEN MIC

Performing the main set is from Kate Mullins who is probably best well known for her work with the 1940’s inspired, chart-topping vocal harmony trio The Puppini Sisters, founded 10 years ago with fellow students she met whilst studying at Trinity College of Music conservatoire in Greenwich. The Puppini Sisters duet with Michael Bublé on his single ‘Jingle Bells’ has become one of the most played Christmas songs of all time. As a soloist, Kate continues to be an active member of both the UK jazz and swing scenes and frequently performs at some of England’s finest jazz venues including Ronnie Scotts, The 606 Club, and The Vortex and of course, The Spice of Life. She appears on her own in the Kate Mullins Quartet, as the lead vocalist of the hottest mini big band in town, King Candy and The Sugar Push, as well as being a featured guest alongside other artists and groups up and down the country too.
